Owners and buyers

This page is for owners and buyers. It is a piece written from the desk, and every figure in it is a completed sale registered with the Dubai Land Department. What each home sold for is on its own page, free.

See what homes like yours really sold for, home by home and district by district, from the Land Department's own record.

The rent column is for premises of one size on purpose. The register states no floor area for a large share of business tenancies, and very many of those are a business address registered for a licence rather than a floor of an office, so a single middle rent over all of them is a long way below what real premises cost.

The month's largest

The largest registered sale of a business premises in the twelve months to 4 September 2026 was AED 182.1 million, in Ac3 in Motor City.

New lettings and renewals

34,405 of those business tenancies were new and 16,962 were a renewal of one already in place.

Every district behind these figures is in the commercial desk.

A registration is treated as business property when the Land Department's own record names it as one: an office, a shop, a showroom, a warehouse or workshop, a hotel unit, or a whole tower. Where the register names a unit inside a tower but not what kind, the use it records for that unit decides. Villas and plots are never treated as business property, because the register files many of Dubai's most expensive family homes under a commercial use. Sales and tenancies are each counted to the same day, the register read to 4 September 2026.
