What an office, a shop or a warehouse actually went for
The Dubai Land Department registered 3,290 business sales across the twenty-six Dubai districts this desk reads in the last twelve months. Every one of them is a deal that was signed. None of them is an asking price.
The busiest of them was Business Bay, with 1,047 registered business sales over the same twelve months. Open any district and the register is broken down tower by tower, with the size of each sample printed beside every figure, because a middle price over four sales and a middle price over four hundred are not the same kind of fact.
Nothing on these pages is a listing and nothing is an estimate. Where the register does not hold enough of something to publish a middle figure, this desk prints the count and says so, rather than filling the gap with a guess.

How these figures are made
A registration is treated as business property when the Land Department's own record names it as one: an office, a shop, a showroom, a warehouse or workshop, a hotel unit, or a whole tower. Where the register names a unit inside a tower but not what kind, the use it records for that unit decides. Villas and plots are never treated as business property, because the register files many of Dubai's most expensive family homes under a commercial use.
