About the Desk

The Dubai Desk is an independent publication that records what prime Dubai actually trades for. Every figure traces to a Dubai Land Department registered transaction, computed under a published method from a checked, complete read of the register. Registered prices, not asking prices. No listings, no scores.

What the Desk publishes

Area desks, beginning with Emirates Hills: the median, the range, the rate per square foot and the full registered series, read from the land register. Twice-monthly editions in the institutional register report what closed, what moved and what the record shows.

How the Desk works

A single retrieval from an open register is a sample, not a record. The Desk publishes only when repeated retrieval converges on the register's own totals and the largest known sales are present. Where a sample is thin, the Desk publishes the range and says so. Where the record is incomplete, the desk stays closed until verification passes.
