Seven days on the register, and where Dubai actually traded
The Land Department registered 487 resales in the seven days to 22 October 2026, across the thirty-one registers this desk reads. Seven of them were the highest price ever recorded under one name, and none was the first sale a name has ever had.
The week's largest registered price was about AED 50m, in Palm Jumeirah, in October 2026. The busiest district was Jumeirah Village Circle, where 63 resales were registered.
What is chosen for the weekly piece is chosen by rule and not by eye: a resale above the previous high under its nameest, the first sale ever registered under a name, each district's highest registered price of the week, and its most traded tower. Two of the pieces below write themselves every week and every month from the register, and they keep coming whether or not there is anybody at a desk in Dubai.
